If you look deeply into a beautiful piece of natural stone, you find yourself looking at the frozen remains of eons. Bits of ancient mountains and colorful swirls of minerals transported by downpours at the dawn of time.

Over long periods of time your stone was created, and in the blink of a stone’s eye, it's shine and finish can dull. Marble can really last forever if it’s taken care of properly and maintained. Our trained technicians can and will restore your marble floors to their original beauty. But, here's the big question - Does my floor need to be refinished? An easy way to tell if it need refinishing is that cleaning your floors no longer gives them an acceptable appearance. Look for scratches, gouges and a dull appearance. Repairing these types of damage is all part of our marble restoration process.

TERRAZZO

Is Terrazzo different than other stone floors?

Yes, it is a man made made product. It's basically pieces of marble, granite, quartz & other stones mixed with Portland cement as a binder.

Can it be made to shine like other stone floors?

Yes. It can be polished to a shiny finish.

How is it installed?

It's usually either poured in place, or tiled.

AGGLOMERATE

What is an Agglomerate?

It is a broad family of man-made surfaces, usually composed of chips of marble (or stone) & dust. The stuff that holds it together or the binder can be epoxy or other resins. Being from the same family, it looks like Terrazzo.

Can it be made to shine like other stone floors?

How is it installed?

It's usually poured in place, or tiled.

LIPPAGE

Got Lippage?

A lot of people do and think that it is just part of having a natural stone floor. Lippage happens when your floor is installed, and the tiles are set into place either improperly or because of an inexperienced stone-setter.

So, is there hope for you and your new floor? The answer is most definitely yes. Although the results really depend on how bad it was to begin with, the before & after pictures to the right show you how well your stone can look after lippage removal.
